Gaze down at Stureplan for an evening
Of all of our fine venues, we’re that little bit extra proud of our function room, located in Arnoldshuset, so characteristic of Stureplan. In this fabulous renaissance building, an entire floor has carefully been modernised in order to preserve the splendour adored by the turn of the century’s most noble figures. This, on the threshold of the 20th century, when the first tenants inspected the property. Even today, the building is inhabited by bigwigs. However, now it’s no longer about counts and merchants, but rather about the ladies and gentlemen of modern nightlife who amuse themselves at the Laroy and Spy Bar nightclubs. The function room also attracts its fair share of contemporary dignitaries. Olympic gold medallists have jostled on the balcony to get a glimpse of the view, the armchairs in the foyer have been graced by the bottoms of the national football team and a handful of international artists have frequented the toilets. But above all, we’ve been visited by completely ordinary people who just want to add a gilt-edge to their lives for an evening.
Because, regardless of whether it concerns the official celebration dinner after a historic sports achievement or your own birthday, you’re worth celebrating at Arnoldhuset. Both the food and the service are perfectly tuned to the venue’s pomp, and if the mood grabs you, you’re free to steal a ride in the service elevator straight down to Spy Bar or Laroy.
